This is the official website of
"Angus" Allendorf. Accept no other as substitute. Angus is currently available for weddings, funerals, and events in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Prices are negotiable, but the standard 2 hour gig will be around $175 -- more depending on the distance outside the 275 Loop. He will arrive a good half-hour before the event with at least one adult chaperone. He will need at least 15 minutes to tune the pipes. Although Angus is available on short notice, we would prefer that you begin making arrangements with Angus at least a week ahead so that he can prepare. Funerals: Angus will do visitations, services, and graveside services. Although we reserve the right to pull him from any outdoor event with inclement weather. Bagpipes are touchy instruments and he stands to loose a major investment if they are exposed to rain or excessive cold. Media: Angus is happy to make himself available to the media. He has done appearances on local radio and television, and deports himself well. Just remember that he is a serious professional bagpiper.

Angus started with a traditional Mist Covered Mountains into Lord Lovett's Lament, and then cranked up his signature "Death by A cid Medley." The hornpipe segment, Acid Piper, had the crowd up on their feet, clapping time. Team Angus wants to thank Alex Beaton, Jimmy McIntosh, and the guys of MacTalla Mor for all their kind words and encouragement to build on a promising start. A special thanks to Dave Pique and Jill Greer for giving Angus a chance to perform.

Angus Talks Turkey Besides piping, Angus is becoming an accomplished turkey caller. He's now on the ProStaff of Heirloom Turkey Calls. Owner Brian Warner of Haughton, Louisiana says he can stay on the team as long as he keeps his grades up.
Angus has been going afield with his father since he was four, chasing turkeys. He just finished up the 2008 season with several close calls with gobblers. He is exceptionally good at close-in calling; and can coax a gobbler right to the end of his barrel.

Angus
rocked an appreciative audience at the Kentucky Scottish Weekend Ceilidh,
May 10, 2009. Although Angus has played solo before similarly sized
audiences, this was his first time out in front of a group of wholly Scottish
fans, including judges from the KSW competitions earlier in the day.
