The Bagpipe Box

It's done. Angus' bagpipe case is complete. Angus needed something for his new pipes. I had a piece of plywood that I pulled an old bathroom vanity. A little this, a little that, a trip to the hardware store for hinges , hasps, a handle and a few odds and ends and the bagpipe box was born. I found the plans online from this guy:

My version uses bungees to hold two interior lids shut. The lids are hinged with a single piano hinge cut halfway through. The bungies do double duty as a place to hold his practice chanter.
